The curtain falls on Euroshop 2023 and the moment has arrived for Epta to look back over the salient moments of an edition full of novelties. Once again, the world’s leading Retail fair confirmed itself to be the source of inspiration for the entire sector.

International participation

What will be the consumer purchasing habits of the future? This is the question the 1,830 exhibitors wanted to answer from 26 February to 2 March transforming the 16 Halls of Euroshop into a stage of ideas and cutting-edge projects, characterised by a shared fil-rouge: sustainability, energy efficiency and digitalisation. A show experienced directly by the numerous participants, arrived in Düsseldorf from all over the world: more than 81,000 visitors from 141 Countries, 68% from abroad, from Brazil and even from Australia.

Epta a breath of fresh air

Trends and networking hub, Euroshop has seen Epta in first place, with a stand which is the perfect expression of its promise to Retailers: REstore your future. Innovation Reloaded. The Epta Sustainable System. The claim of the Group for the event is a journey through responsible innovation, tangibly represented at the heart of the fit-out by three Green Facts, with which Epta proves its commitment to the environment and Retailers.

Tangible actions which translate into:

  • Refrigerated cabinets in the best energy classes, A and B, in terms of Energy Label, for greater performance than the market standards;
  • Advanced solutions such as the patent pending XTE system, result of a collaboration with Energy Recovery, Californian company specialised in the creation of technologies for the energy efficiency of commercial and industrial systems, as well as fruit of the ability of Epta to break the mould;
  • Cabinets designed according to the principles of circular economy. A display appreciated by the visitors, whose attention was captured by UNIT, a 95% recyclable plug-in, symbol of the legacy of Epta for a future which enhances resources.

Sustainability which also embraces digitalisation, thanks to a vast range of digital services, such as SwitchON and LineON, which allow Retailers to access multiple information on the furnishings and stores, for an all-round management of the store, and increase its performance, in terms of energy and sales.

Talking Epta Arena also proved a great success, a stage where international guests and Epta experts alternated with each other to offer an overview of the latest trends of the sector, address the most topical themes and pool the expertise of the Group.
