Epta UK Partners with M&S to Transform The Galleries in Washington

Our recent collaboration with Marks & Spencer at The Galleries, Washington, near Sunderland, showcases how innovative design and tailored technology can really elevate the shopping experience. With a key focus on energy-efficient solutions and customers, this project highlights Epta UK’s role in shaping the future of retail.

 

Fresh produce displays with Advanced Technology

As part of this exciting project, our team installed LION cabinets retrofitted with Epta Advance doors, alongside Gazelle Eco cabinets known for their energy efficiency and sleek design. These advanced systems combine precise temperature control with sustainability, while reducing energy consumption. Key to M&S’s goal of reducing energy use across all stores by approximately 60%, the Epta Advance doors and Gazelle Eco cabinets offer practical, customer-focused solutions for busy retail environments.

A milestone in Epta UK’s biggest year yet

This project is one of many contributing to Epta UK’s record-breaking year for case and plant installations. As part of a broader transformation, the Washington store is one of many benefiting from M&S’s wider regeneration programme, led by CEO Stuart Machin. This store reflects this vision by combining modern layouts with equipment upgrades that are central to achieving this ambitious goal.
