Epta UK Named Finalist for Second Year Running at the 2026 RAC Cooling Industry Awards

Epta UK has been named as a finalist in three categories at this year’s RAC Cooling Industry Awards, a leading industry awards programme for the cooling and refrigeration sector.

This year, the shortlist recognises a broad mix of work from across the business, with Epta UK named as finalists for Collaboration of the Year, Team of the Year and Refrigeration Product of the Year.

The Collaboration of the Year nomination recognises the Tech Development Partnership with OMEGA and university partners, which explores how refrigeration data can be turned into useful engineering context. The project looks beyond simply collecting data and focuses instead on how that information can help engineers better understand system behaviour and make more informed decisions.

Epta UK has also been shortlisted for Team of the Year following the successful delivery of the Retrofit doors project. Fitting doors to refrigerated cabinets is easy to describe, but delivering nearly 15,000 of them across hundreds of live retail stores, out of hours and without disrupting trade, is something else entirely. The nomination recognises the scale of the project and the work involved in keeping a major nationwide programme moving.

Completing the shortlist is Zenith, Epta UK’s flagship cabinet range, which has been named a finalist for Refrigeration Product of the Year. Zenith has attracted attention across the industry for good reason. It catches the eye first, and then the engineering proves just as impressive as the finish. The nomination is a proud moment for everyone involved in bringing the product to market.

Being named finalists across such different categories is something the whole business can be proud of. It gives a clear sense of the range of work taking place across Epta UK, from technical collaboration and project delivery through to product development that is helping move refrigerated retail display forward.

The winners will be announced at the RAC Cooling Industry Awards ceremony later this year. We look forward to representing Epta UK on the night and celebrating alongside customers and industry partners from across the sector.
